Employer Description Our client is water treatment solution company Job Description Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors, tanks, and walkways. Carry out lubrication, filter changes, and equipment adjustments as per OEM specifications. Diagnose and resolve equipment faults to reduce plant downtime. Monitor equipment performance: flow rates, pressures, bearing temperatures, etc. Assist with installation, modification, and optimisation of mechanical systems. Supervise high-risk tasks requiring permits (hot work, confined spaces, lifting) Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair histories. Log maintenance data for ISO and internal reporting. Recommend improvements based on failure trends and analysis. Coordinate with procurement to ensure spare parts availability. Qualifications Matric (Grade 12). Trade Test Certificate (Fitter, Turner or equivalent), or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Skills Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in mechanical systems maintenance within industrial\/water treatment or mining environments. Valid Code B Driver's License. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and mechanical drawings. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite). Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and participate in standby rotation Salary\/Package R30 000 - R35 000 CTC Benefits Medical & provident after 3 months' probation
