National Operations Manager (Mech/HVAC) – CPT/JHB
POSITION INFO:
Employer Description Mechanical and HVAC solutions contracting company Job Description Oversee and coordinate daily operational activities across departments. Manage resource planning, including labour, vehicles, equipment, and materials. Monitor workloads, priorities, deadlines, and operational performance. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions. Improve internal processes, communication, and workflow between departments. Provide regular operational feedback and reporting to Directors. Oversee the operational execution of mechanical hot water plantroom projects. Support Project and Service Managers with planning, resources, and problem-solving. Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality, and completion. Ensure breakdowns, repairs and maintenance work are efficiently managed. Monitor outstanding jobs, repeat breakdowns and customer escalations. Ensure SLA and customer commitments are achieved. Qualifications N\/A Skills Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, project, technical or service management. Experience within the mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, construction or engineering industry is a MUST. Relevant technical, engineering, project management or operations qualification preferred. Experience managing multiple teams, projects, and priorities. Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving ability. Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Commercial awareness with experience in budgets, costing and cost control. Strong computer literacy and reporting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when required. Salary\/Package R40 000 per month (neg)
