MSC Platform Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
My Top tier Cape Town based client is looking for an enthusiastic and client focused Platform Support Engineer with extensive experience supporting Tier 1 teams with complex incidents. They are looking for this determined individual to join their diverse and growing team.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for supporting tier 1 teams, problem ownership and performing changes adhering to ITIL principles.

You will be on-call rota for any issues.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the cloud with management of private clouds ensuring that server, storage, hypervisor, and network is maintained at a very high level.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience with:

VMware vSphere 6,x – 7,x

NetApp Storage

Dell, EMC Storage

Dell servers

Cisco UCS

Double take replication

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience:

Azure IAAS

Qualification:

VMware VCP – VCP-DCV 7.X

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate

ITIL foundation

CISCO CCNP
