POSITION INFO:
Machine Operator Vacancy Position: Machine Operator Industry: Manufacturing Job Purpose: We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to manage production machinery in a dynamic packaging and manufacturing setting. Your role involves ensuring machine efficiency, product quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production machinery. Set up machines and perform adjustments. Ensure product quality and meet production standards. Conduct routine machine inspections and maintenance. Report machine faults to Supervisor. Maintain production records and cleanliness. Adhere to health, safety, and company policies. Assist with changeovers and production setup. Collaborate with the team to achieve targets. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Minimum 2 years' machinery operation experience. Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Understanding of production processes and quality standards. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods. Advantageous: Experience with packaging or labelling machines. Forklift licence (advantageous). Manufacturing-related training or certification. Working Hours: Rotational shifts with potential for overtime. Remuneration: Market-related salary based on experience and qualifications.
