• Duration : 6 Months renewal
• Location : Cape Town

 

Spec

 

• Very well experienced IBM mainframe analyst developer.
• Cobol essential, PL/1 a good recommendation.
• Good knowledge of IMS and / or IMS; ability to quickly absorb any database technology gap
• CICS background a distinct advantage
• Domain knowledge of long term insurance
• This is a person who must be able to rapidly assimilate knowledge both from other system experts as well as by reading old and possibly outdated documentation and actual code.
• Strong ability to work independently, to jump in the deep end. Require proactivity, desire to learn, willingness to speak up
