SUMMARY:

VACANCY: MAINTENANCE WORKER – MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent (technical qualification advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or general plant maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
• Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance standards in industrial settings
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and equipment
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and technical issues to reduce downtime
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production environment
• Assist operators and supervisors with equipment-related challenges
