Our client, a leading manufacturing operation in Cape Town, is looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced production environment where problem-solving, initiative, and technical expertise make a real difference every day.
This is not a role for someone who waits for instructions.
We're looking for an artisan who can identify problems before they become failures, take ownership of maintenance activities, and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently and safely.

POSITION INFO:
Your responsibilities will include: Electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment PLC fault finding and breakdown response Preventative, predictive and planned maintenance Machine upgrades and continuous improvement projects Site and facility maintenance Maintaining high health and safety standards Supporting shutdowns and critical maintenance activities What we're looking for: Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested) Minimum NTC\/N3 qualification 5 to 7 years' maintenance experience within manufacturing Strong fault-finding abilities on electrical and mechanical systems PLC troubleshooting experience Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions Forklift license advantageous Ability to work shifts, overtime and call-outs when required The ideal candidate: You don't just repair equipment.
