JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with electronic / electrical products assembly processes.
Minimum 1 year team supervision experience within production operations.
Bachelor Engineering Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Electrical and pneumatic systems expertise required.
Working knowledge of statistical methods and process capability, ability to apply statistical tools – Cpk, GR&R, FPY.
Working knowledge of Quality improvement methods (pareto, root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D/DMAIC, etc)
Experience from telecom and/or energy products is a merit.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision of resistance spot welders and laser welding systems configuration, maintenance, and operational procedures.
Establish, maintain, and update product assembly and testing, quality, and product packaging stations.
Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems installation, configuration and maintenance.
Operational procedures monitoring and compliance.
Working closely with NPI engineer to ensure production equipment preparedness and developments are delivered.
Undertake analysis and report on production equipment safety, ergonomics, and efficiency including corrective action plans.
Monitor, analyse and report production first pass yield, cycle time trends and corrective actions plans.
Support development and improvement in QA & production systems to improve production outcomes.
Support EHS, QA and product assembly related training materials development and delivery.
Assembly workers and Technicians’ competence assessment and development.
Ensure EHS, Security & IMS policies and procedures compliance throughout the operations.
Feedback on design, procedures, and issues towards the Global NPI department and other production sites.
