Qualifications / Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Minimum of 3 years experience in welding – MIG and TIG coded
• Experience on all air tools to strip and repair
• Able to work with hand tools
• Must have own reliable transport
• Must be prepared to work shifts and / or overtime at short notice including weekends if required

Key Performance Areas:

• Operate welding and other related equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the Supervisor
• Perform welds to the required quality standard
• Assist Maintenance Artisans
• Maintain all pneumatic tools
• Order spares and tools
• Keep record of tools issued to the maintenance crew
• General maintenance work
