Maintenance Foreman

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide input to develop, review and implement the Asset Management Strategy.
* The Asset Management strategy communication is supported to ensure that it is effectively communicated and explained right down to shop floor level.
* Resources are managed and controlled for roll out of AM strategy.
* Relevant role players have been identified and buy-in is obtained.
* Key Performance areas are monitored and reported on and deviation addressed.
* Improvement actions are documented on the system to support the short term strategy objectives.
* Progress on the action plan is documented and communicated to all relevant role players, and deviation from plan is addressed and rectified.
* The AM manager is supported in the annual review of the AM strategy.
* AM improvement initiatives and recommendations are implemented.
* The AM manager is supported to identify Key Performance Indicators for critical assets and Key Performance Area’s.
* The AM Manager is supported to set Measurable goals and standards for all identified Key Performance Indicators.
* The KPI’s are communicated to all subordinates and definitions are explained to all role players.
* KPI scores are consistently captured and the system are maintained to ensure accurate reporting.
* The AM Manager are supported in the annual re-evaluation of Key Performance indicators.
* KPI are constantly measured, monitored and communicated to all stake holders.
* Non Performance areas are identified and action plan delegated to subordinates and followed up to ensure performance within required performance levels.
* Optimisation recommendations are communicated to relevant role players and feedback are filtered to the engineering team.
* Optimisation action plans are implemented and monitored for sustainability.
* The asset manage systems, policies and procedures for the identification, prioritisation and analysing of performance gaps are applied on a day to day basis.
* Relevant information are captured and traceable to support the system.
* Improvement action plans are implemented according to best practices and sustainability thereof is monitored and reported on.
* Root cause analysis are documented and recorded on the system for traceability and to initiate improvement plans.
* All Best practices implementation are monitored for compliance and effectiveness and reports generated and delivered to relevant role players.
* Continuous Improvement best practices are consistently promoted amongst all staff to ensure successful implementation of the strategy.
