Maintenance Leader

SUMMARY:
A well-known and established Chemical Manufacturing company requires the above to be accountable for the application of the Maintenance facility work processes.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Tertiary qualification either a B.Eng or a B.Sc Mechanical Engineering or related is pref.
• Having been a GMR 2.1. appointee is essential.
• Having managed a team of at least 50 direct Reports, made up of Artisans, an Electrical, a Mechanical and other Senior Engineers is essential.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer at Management level is essential.
• The successful candidate must have a very good understanding of pressure vessels and the statutory requirements for pressure vessels.
• Previous Petrochemical experience is preferred.
• Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills with previous experience working on SAP is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

• Managing and overseeing the maintenance of facility work process results and maintenance costs as well as ensuring the delivery of best-in-class services to the business.
• Establishing the annual financial plan consistent with business needs, functional goals and targets.
• Ensuring effective resource leveraging within the maintenance facility.
• Actively participating and driving maintenance process improvements.
• Encouraging and leading by utilising the use of management of change for value added improvements.
• Functioning as the Administrative Leader of skilled maintenance resources and inventory resources within an expertise centre.
• Accountable for measuring the performance of individuals against the expectations of the work processes and the utilization of most effective technology as well as for Maintenance risk management programs.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
