Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY:
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager with a client within the automotive sector.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Strategic infrastructure planning and project management relating to facilities and equipment
2. Effective maintenance of production equipment
3. Quality of workmanship improvement and regular audits
4. Manage performance and development of subordinates
5. Ensure that all work practices comply with health and safety standards and standard operating procedures
6. Management of critical spares
7. Assist in compiling maintenance budget (including CAPEX) and managing spend in line with budget
8. Reporting to senior management and provide decision support through maintenance metrics (PPM, MTTR/MTTF) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
9. Provide direction and guidance to maintenance department personnel

Requirements:

1. B-tech: Mechanical Engineering (Management diploma advantageous)
2. Have a minimum of 5 years’ maintenance management experience in a production environment dealing with press lines
3. Experience in installation of manufacturing equipment
4. Ability to manage and lead people
5. Sound computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAGE VIP).
6. Personal attributes: confident, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, good problem-solving skills.
