Well Established Company in the Petrochemical Industry is looking for an Experience Maintenance Manager to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the job

1. Responsible Plant Maintenance.
2. To minimize breakdowns.
3. Reduce downtime & maintenance costs and increase plant availability.
4. Ensure plant is safe and operating at all times.
5. Ensure the workshop is always neat and tidy.
6. Health and safety requirements are met.
7. Take responsibility for the condition and availability of all equipment.
8. Ensuring that the company’s commitment to quality as per the latest version of ISO 9001 is communicated to and implemented in your area of responsibility.

Key areas of responsibility

1. Draft and conduct daily site inspections

• Manage daily check lists of equipment
• Drafts and manage scheduled maintenance program.
• Schedule and manage list of maintenance program for critical equipment’s components:
• Boiler
• Pressure vessels
• Compressor
• Respond swiftly with purpose to breakdowns
• File and assign all job requests.
• Ensure job cards are assigned to current department /division.

2. Store

• Ensure that the right parts, tools and spares are kept in store.
• Do with monthly stock take.

3. Monthly Report

• Breakdowns - no loss of production hours
• Critical checks for jobs outstanding
• Job Schedule
• Hours worked
• Problem areas
• Improvements.

1. Update job schedule daily
2. Internal Liaison
3. Management of staff
4. Quality
5. Assigned duties as a 16.2 Employer Representative
6. Other duties in terms of legal appointments

Education Requirements:

• Matric + B Tech Degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• ISO 9001 Knowledge essential
• Min of 5 years experience in similar position
