About the Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of lodge upkeep, from preventative maintenance and repairs to managing a small, dynamic team. You’ll work closely with management to uphold our high standards, ensuring every area of the lodge operates efficiently and looks its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across the lodge, guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Manage and train the maintenance team to deliver top-quality workmanship.
- Respond promptly to urgent repairs and guest-related maintenance requests.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers as needed.
Requirements:- Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in the hospitality or lodge industry.
- Strong technical knowledge across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Physically fit and capable of hands-on work when needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
