What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the FMCG Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

*  Define Plant Condition Based Analysis Strategy

*  Define Inspections, Planned Maintenance Activities & Intervals

*  Ensure Parts Availability for Equipment

*  Equipment Modifications to Improve Performance & Reliability

*  Reduce Equipment Operating Costs

Key Job Deliverables:

*  Improve Lifespan of Equipment

*  Improve Condition of Equipment

*  Improve OEE of Plant

Background work experience:

*  5 years Mechanical Maintenance - Like in petrochem, alcohol or sugar e.g. Boilers, Evaporators, Dryers etc...

*  3 years Mechanical Condition Assessment Strategies

*  3 years Developing Mechanical Proactive Maintenance Plans

*  3 years Mechanical Equipment Optimisation

*  BSc Mechanical Engineering + GCC (Government ticket)

*  Mechanical Equipment Optimisation Strategies

*  Practical hands-on experience in a Heavy Industry Mechanical Plant with lots of boilers, pipes, Centrifuges etc... Continuous operation environment

*  An in depth understanding of Mechanical Asset Care Strategies and Best practices

*  Ability to train and mentor technical teams on how to perform maintenance on mechanical components

*  Ability to oversee large CAPEX projects with numerous contractors

*  Advantageous: GCC or Studying towards

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R840K to R1.1Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
