MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEGREE / DIPLOMA IS ESSENTIAL

Lead the maintenance program to ensure efficient and continuous operation of equipment.

Key Performance Areas:

Analyse Production output to determine equipment efficiency.
Monitor machines and processes to increase production output.
Interact and liaise with production team on machine improvement.
Developed, implement, and maintain all maintenance procedures (e.g. job card system),
Developed, implement, and execute planned and statutory maintenance is being done according to a maintenance plan.
Compile preventative and reactive maintenance plan and reports.
Compile breakdown report that includes amount of downtime
Plan, delegate and coordinate repairs and services of all machines.
Plan annual shutdown to ensure that all machines and equipment are serviced accordingly
Responsible for ensuring all services, calibration and validation on various machinery and equipment are done routinely.
Monitor all maintenance store stock items including consumables and machine parts.
Oversee maintenance contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to companies OHSA and HACCP requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
Minimum of 2 years relevant postgraduate experience.
Machine maintenance knowledge required. • Own transport and drivers licence essential
