SUMMARY:

An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking the above to manage and coordinate all maintenance activities on site, including planned maintenance and asset care, ensuring compliance to legal requirements with regards to inspections and safety.



POSITION INFO:


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must have a tertiary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Millwright or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in maintenance planning is required
  • Must be fluent in English and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to make decisions on a timely manner are essential
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS Software will be required


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Performing Legal Compliance and Statutory inspection planning.
  • Maintaining the maintenance system master data.
  • Implementing, preparing, prioritising and distributing maintenance job cards.
  • Reporting daily on CMMS and analysing data to identify improvement requirements and problems in areas relating to maintenance task execution.
  • Maximising equipment reliability and availability through using planned maintenance most effectively – plan for the future.
  • Managing and providing assistance to engineering and production departments for spare parts and initiate PM lists and preventative maintenance job cards for new equipment.
  • Conducting maintenance cost analysis and making recommendations to change equipment that is not cost effective.
  • Maintaining and managing the inventory control of the maintenance store.
  • Ordering, receiving and supervising required material to assist maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining the plant inventory and asset stock lists.
  • Collecting drawings, manuals and other documents to assist contractor and maintenance repairs or modifications.
  • Coordinating and planning plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules.
  • Planning and arranging activities related with equipment maintenance to enhance equipment and plant accessibility and competence supporting site production supplies.
  • Promoting an actively caring culture for safety amongst all personnel, contractors and visitors.
  • Presenting strong team leader skills, to ensure multiple activities are executed accurately, to high standards and in time.
  • Pro-actively supporting all HSE procedures and policies including JSA & RA for maintenance activities and participate in investigations, 5why’s etc.
  • Maintaining and participating in the One PSS system on site.
  • Supporting department’s compliance to any Lean Manufacturing goals and objectives.
  • Seeking continuous growth/learning opportunities to further own skills and knowledge.
