Maintenance Planner: Saudi Arabia

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry is urgently looking to appoint a Maintenance Planner in their Company/ Organization in Saudi Arabia in the middle East.

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will be responsible to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

• Five years of professional experience in a facilities management, manufacturing, or maintenance planning role
• Organizational skills
• Strong analytical skill
• ORACLE Planning system knowledge required.

Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise

• Solid knowledge of computerized technology, technical and practical knowledge of machinery/equipment, time management, facility management, and good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• English Language Proficiency
• Time management skills

Health, Safety and Legal Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance Health and Safety responsibilities
• Identify hazards and risk while performing daily tasks and maintenance and take preventative measures.
• Do FLRA.
• Comply with legislative and operational requirements.
• Adhere to the company''s environmental management program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the achievement of engineering availability and production performance levels.
• Creating maintenance schedules for all plant equipment
• Develop and implement new maintenance processes throughout various departments.
• Organize spare parts inventories to prepare for emergency or preventative maintenance needs.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness through correct maintenance processes
• Determining the tools and supplies needed for each different type of machine.
• Ordering and keeping spare parts for various machines as needed.
• Understanding of basic financial concepts, such as estimating and budgeting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications,
• Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Planning System
• Ensure that maintenance related information is recorded and reported to the relevant planning.
• Systems to support the maintenance of the planned/asset maintenance system.
• Ensure adherence to engineering quality standards in maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Monitor and assign work to allocated assistants according to instruction when required.
• Coach and assist with on-the-job training assistants, SMP and learner ships e.g., safety, technical training.
