Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A Scenic Safari Lodge is looking for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• Maintenance Diploma or tertiary qualification in Maintenance
• At least 2 years of junior maintenance management experience
• Must be computer literate – EXCEL/ Microsoft Office
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Zulu speaking is certainly a great benefit!
• Driver’s License and valid PDP are essential
• Valid First Aid Certification
• Systematic and strong with protocols
• Used to a reporting system and presenting month end reports to Management
• An understanding of budget control and financial management and planning for the maintenance department
• Some understanding of staff management and staff disciplinary process
• Eye for detail and good all-rounder in all aspects of maintenance
• Experience and ability to train maintenance staff
• Must be physically fit with sober habits and in good health
• Honest person with high sense of integrity
• Sense of ownership and pride in work
• Well groomed, good personal hygiene & presentable with a friendly personality
• Strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, work flexible hours and extended hours.
• Empathetic and compassionate personality
• Passionate about conservation in all aspects of wilderness areas
• Good interpersonal skills
