POSITION INFO:

A job opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Team Leader in Sterkspruit. The successful candidate will manage and control the Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance function of the plant.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Manage the execution of maintenance activities to maximize availability of plant and equipment
• Execute maintenance policy and compliance with maintenance standards
• Maintenance scheduling and preventative maintenance
• Prepare and manage budget in line with financial policies and procedures
• Manage and support SHEQ initiatives towards SHEQ company’s SHEQ objectives
• Champion safety initiatives and build commitment to sustain improvements in safety
• People Management and Development of team members by promoting positive engagement, accountability, delivering results and showing an increase in delivery capacity

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric with related Maintenance qualification
• N5 Qualification
• Millwright Trade Tested (Strong Electrical Knowledge)
• 7 years minimum post qualification experience
• 3 years minimum experience in a heavy industrial environment
• 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
• Sound knowledge of electrical, fitting, machining, boiler making and welding trades
• Extensive experience in maintenance of conveying equipment, gearboxes, fans, compressors, blowers, drives, crushers, and rigging equipment
• Sound experience in maintenance of Screens and Concrete Batch Plants
• Experience in Mining / Crushing advantageous
