POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery within a fast-paced production environment.

Minimum Requirements

Qualified and trade tested Millwright or Fitter
Minimum of 1 year’s post-trade experience in a manufacturing environment
Sound knowledge of electrical work (fault finding, basic electrical maintenance)
Willingness and ability to work day and night shifts
Experience within a manufacturing / production environment is essential

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are met
Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards
Work collaboratively with production and technical teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

Hands-on, proactive, and reliable
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
Comfortable working under pressure in a shift-based environment
