Stunning Luxury Camp in the Timbavati Reserve is looking for a standout MAINTENANCE MANAGER/SOUS CHEF COUPLE

POSITION INFO:
This is an eco-sensitive luxury bush camp sleeping a maximum of 16 guests at a time. The team is small and close-knit, and they offer full accommodation and meals as part of the employment package. All candidates must have their own reliable transport, and the salary is negotiable based on experience.

Candidate requirements:

Maintenance

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role
• Proven skills in electrical systems, solar power, plumbing, basic construction, and general property upkeep
• Strong project and time management skills
• Conduct preventative and routine maintenance across the property
• Respond to urgent repairs and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Manage and oversee small construction or repair projects
• Monitor and maintain solar and electrical systems to ensure optimal functioning
• Ensure proper water and plumbing systems are maintained
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as needed
• Coordinate with other departments and work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a remote bush environment

• Minimum 5 years’ experience running a kitchen
• Stock taking, ordering, and staff management
• Preparing traditional, family-style meals aligned with the camp’s theme
• Strong knowledge of health & safety standards
