This position is well suited for the young and dynamic Maitre’D

Duties

• To assist the food and beverage manager with daily operations
• Checking and dealing with guests’ special occasion arrangements
• Promote special in-house events
• Oversee and pro-actively deal with guest queries and complaints
• Maintain ambiance or restaurant – lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene
• Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff
• Oversee the of guests within the restaurant
• Perform other duties as requested

Soft Skills

• Excellent Customer service skills
• Ability to understand and respond to individuals (Guests needs and requirements)
• MS Office ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Restaurant management software
• POS
• Exceptional Communication Skills
• Sound presentation skills

Qualification and Training / Experience

• Proven 2 – 3 years’ experience within a 3 / 4 * establishment as Maitre’D or head waiter/es or restaurant manager
• University/college qualification in F&B or Tourism Management would be an advantage
