About the role:

As the Management Accountant, you'll sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy. Your work will transform manufacturing and financial data into meaningful insights that guide decision-making across the business. From costing and contribution analysis to forecasting and international performance reporting, this role offers strong exposure to both operational and strategic finance.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare monthly divisional management accounts with clear financial commentary
Analyse variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple departments
Conduct contribution margin and cost analysis across products, customers, and regions
Support financial performance analysis of international distribution entities
Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide data-driven insights

What we're looking for:

CA(SA) or CIMA (completed) (or equivalent international qualification)
Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting, ideally in manufacturing
Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, costing, and variance analysis
Exposure to ERP systems (Syspro, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar)
Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
