SUMMARY:
An established, internationally active manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support financial decision-making through accurate reporting, costing, and analysis. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong experience in a production-driven environment, who can translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will take ownership of management reporting, including preparing monthly accounts and delivering meaningful variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. You will play a key role in driving budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with operational teams to align financial plans with business objectives. The role also involves detailed costing and profitability analysis across products, divisions, and regions to support strategic decisions. Additionally, you will contribute to multi-entity and multi-currency reporting, ensuring accurate consolidation and performance insights. As a finance partner, you will provide ongoing support to various departments, driving continuous improvement in reporting processes and financial efficiency.

Skills & Experience:
Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary and variance analysis
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational plans
Conduct detailed costing, contribution margin, and profitability analysis
Support multi-entity and multi-currency reporting and financial consolidation
Provide financial insights to operational teams and support business decision-making
Drive improvements in reporting systems, processes, and data analytics tools
Minimum 5 years’ management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
ERP system experience (e.g., Syspro, Business Central or similar)
Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) advantageous

Qualification:
Completed CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
