Management Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a Management Accountant to be based in the Burgersfort, Limpopo area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• B.Com degree or equivalent specialising in Management/Financial Accounting is essential
• Minimum of 3 years finance work experience within the mining environment is essential
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate

KPAs:

• To implement and maintain adequate financial and budgetary controls, which include management reporting, to ensure the safeguarding and maximising of the company''s physical and monetary assets.
• Must have a good entrepreneurial understanding.
• Must lead and establish Enterprise and Supplier projects.
• Must have a good understanding on financial modelling and the Mining Charter iii.
• Must have a good technical understanding on engineering equipment’s.
• Must oversee the trade accounts department.
• To provide an auditing and mentoring function to ensure good corporate governance are adhered to.
