SUMMARY:
Our client based in Ceres is a top-tier agricultural company. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Management Accountant at its fruit packaging / marketing department. The incumbent will report to the Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        preparation / maintenance of internal pools and reporting to internal producers
·        settlement, disbursements and reporting in relation to external manufacturers
·        measurement of profitability of fixed price product purchases
·        maintenance of standard costs in marketing system
·        internal sales reporting
·        preparation of statutory and royalty returns
·        compilation information for industry surveys
·        weight reconciliation at depots
·        assistance with cost calculation

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

relevant tertiary qualification with proven financial and management experience

COMPETENCIES:

strong analytical, administrative and excel skills
good interpersonal skills, honesty, drive, strict discipline and the ability to function on your own initiative

The remuneration package will commensurate with experience and qualification. Experience in the agricultural industry will be advantageous.
