Management Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Ceres is a top-tier agricultural company. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Management Accountant at its fruit packaging / marketing department. The incumbent will report to the Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        preparation / maintenance of internal pools and reporting to internal producers
·        settlement, disbursements and reporting in relation to external manufacturers
·        measurement of profitability of fixed price product purchases
·        maintenance of standard costs in marketing system
·        internal sales reporting
·        preparation of statutory and royalty returns
·        compilation information for industry surveys
·        weight reconciliation at depots
·        assistance with cost calculation


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• relevant tertiary qualification with proven financial and management experience

• strong analytical, administrative and excel skills
• good interpersonal skills, honesty, drive, strict discipline and the ability to function on your own initiative
