Our client, a manufacturing business based in Port Elizabeth, is seeking to employ an experienced (in manufacturing) and qualified Management Accountant to join their young, innovative and dynamic team.Â

Qualifications:

• BCom
• CIMAÂ

Experience:

• 2 - 3 Years’ experience in a similar role
• Manufacturing experience is essential
• Pastel experience essential

Duties include:

• Financial Analysis
• Cash Flow Forecast and Analysis
• Review Budgets and Forecasts (including variance and trend analysis)
• Monthly Analysis (reporting of operation results and financial controlling)
• Costings (calculations)
• Cost Analysis
• Capital Expenditure Analysis
• Cash Book Management
• Debtors
• Creditors
• Sales Forecasting
• Stakeholder engagements (supplier, client, and auditors)
• Oversee Payroll (outsourced)
• Evaluating, analysing, and documenting cost saving & improvement suggestions

Other:

• Support the Business Directors in a proactive manner, ensuring that the internal department relationships are properly maintained
• Good knowledge of sound internal controls
• Manage work efficiently and effectively
• Always perform high quality of work / have a strong / high work ethic
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective internal and external relationship building via good communication
• Ensuring an effective control of company costs and assets
• Good time management and priority setting skills
• Must be able to take ownership and accountability of / for tasks
• Must have a questioning / probing mind
• Responsible for assisting with any financial audit requirements or compliance work
