Design bespoke client solutions for SA Business Unit and delivery location for both prospective and existing clients. This is a market-facing role that requires innovative thinking, international stakeholder collaboration, and strong outcomes orientation

Job-Related Knowledge, Competencies & Skills Required

  • Experience in multiple business verticals i.e. BFSI, Telecommunications, Utilities, Retail and experience of having worked in the respective industry would be an added advantage
  • Solution/presales experience with diagnostics/due diligence for the deals managed.
  • Cross-functional Finance and Accounting experience (O2C, P2P, R2R, and payroll)
  • Good understanding of all the solution components such as pricing, tools and technology, location strategy etc.
  • Willingness to learn new automation tools and must have updated knowledge of upcoming technology and industry trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with clarity and build strong working relationships, focused on teamwork, able to manage change for transformation assignments
  • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Strong ability to work with a cross-functional team deep understanding of business processes and off-shore business environment
  • Proven client engagement and management skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multi-task
  • Co-ordination and program management skills to interface with various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) – should be able to communicate with various levels in client organization at the same time
  • Must be flexible to travel as the role is client-facing and visits may or may not be local and international.
  • Experience and exposure in storytelling
  • Reporting and Coordination Skills
  • Experience in working in a Consulting environment.
  • Bid Office & proposal writing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Would be responsible for pre-sales, end-to-end solutions, collateral development, business development support for opportunities across multiple business verticals.
  • Create customized solutions which address client business constraints and leverage the strengths of our organization.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends in the domain - Research competition and updates on global market trends
  • Conjecture business challenges that are specific to target clients and leverage our analytical experience.
  • Propose delivery alternatives that address risk and investment appetite, stand out against industry competition, and increase the chance of our Organization’s success in the bid process.
  • Lead the end-to-end RFX process for specific deals allocated to the South African delivery location, supporting several business units
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts like EXCO, operations, quality, finance, technology, transition, human resources etc. for the creation and design of solutions
  • Ensure that the RFX response is clearly articulated and that the companies value proposition and credentials meet the client''s specific requirements
  • In association with Business Development, identify opportunities across the value chain, and build a solutions framework to address these opportunities.
  • In association with Business Unit Heads, identify growth opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Improve bid win rates and strive towards attaining the allocated business unit growth targets
  • Assist Marketing in the content development of client-facing collateral i.e. case studies, company brochures, due diligence, event and roadshow invites, presentations, and themes.
  • Participation in special/strategic projects from time to time
  • Sales Support – Understand total solutions, Opportunity Assessment, Analysis of RFP/RFI/RFQ Documents, Discoveries & Scoping Workshops, Interview and collect requirements directly from clients/prospects, present capabilities, lead or act as Subject Matter Expert, create scope documents, Design global delivery models, Establish business architecture
  • Support project implementation

Qualifications Required

  • Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant Commerce Degree/Diploma
  • Experience in a Professional Services environment is mandatory
  • Project Certification will be an added advantage
  • Finance & Accounting Outsourcing experience an advantage
  • Shared Services Outsourcing experience a major advantage
  • Global Offshoring, Business Process Optimisation & Re-engineering, and Outsourcing Transition experience
  • MBA (Preferred)

Experience Required

  • At least 5+ years proven experience in management consulting designing solutions for multi-national companies
  • Proven track record of at least 4years Business Development, Sales or Marketing Experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing or Professional Services
  • An understanding of business process mapping, re-engineering and optimization
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Proven track record in BPM/BPO Client Services
  • Above average proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and Visio
