POSITION INFO:

Manager – Financial Due Diligence

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Sandton

Position Overview:

A professional Consulting and Advisory firm in the professional services industry is seeking to appoint a skilled Manager in their Financial Due Diligence department.

The key responsibilities of the Manager – Financial Due Diligence will include participating in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements to both listed, un-listed and private equity businesses.

Coordinating and managing clients, engagement teams, third parties (relevant to the deal) throughout the transaction process.

One will analyse Target information to identify the key business trends, quality of earnings, net working capital considerations, and net debt and other potential liabilities that may impact the valuation. Create and design financial due diligence reports specific to the scope of work. Manage the delivery team to provide real-time feedback, guidance and coaching to client and other third parties relevant to the transaction and communicate and resolve issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience Required:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial due diligence
CA(SA) / CFA Charter holder / MBA / Masters
Strong current knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP, M&A and Transaction Advisory Services
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the following tools:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Power BI
- Power Pivots
- Alteryx
- Spotfire
Willingness and ability to travel, including internationally
