Manager ASOC Fault Management
5 month contract
POSITION INFO:
Must have:
Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
A minimum of a National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science is essential.
8 – 10 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications industry is essential
4 – 5 years of experience with Core Network is essential
Good understanding of 24/7 service assurance
Customer experience and Innovation focused.
Problem solver.
Well established industry relationships.
Communication and negotiation skills.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- -Establish and maintain infrastructure, applications and services across OPCOs
- -Daily oversight and support of NOC engineers, providing direction on workload priorities and technical assistance as needed
- -Drive service level agreement level in alignment to target key performance indicators.
- -Ensure network management tools are effectively applied toward fault diagnosis and resolution
- -Steer productivity improvements by transforming and growing operational capabilities, developing talent, setting and driving KPIs, growing strong partner relationships, and delivering increased efficiency and scale
- -To liaise with internal and external support teams toward fault resolution
- -To analyse and report on routine and ad hoc investigations
- -Ensure procedures for all NOC teams are documented, kept up to date, and are well communicated
