POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading financial services organization that thrives on innovation and precision. They’re looking for a Manager: Collections Strategy to lead the strategic development and optimization of their collections function. This is an opportunity to drive measurable impact, where your analytical insights and strategic thinking influences real business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic development and optimization of the collections function to achieve business objectives.
Design, build, and document data-driven models and strategies across the collections life cycle.
Analyze portfolio performance to identify key risk drivers and propose actionable insights.
Oversee forecasting, target setting, and performance analysis to enhance portfolio profitability.
Collaborate with data and BI teams to ensure accurate, effective reporting and dashboards.
Recommend and implement champion/challenger strategies for continuous improvement.
Support operations in achieving better collections outcomes through analytical integration.
Identify and drive improvements to systems, processes, and data utilization.
Communicate analytical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Honours Degree or equivalent - BCom Maths, Stats, or Finance, Economics (with Econometrics), Actuarial Science, or BSc Engineering.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar strategic or analytical collections role.
Strong technical proficiency in SQL, R, Python, AWS, and advanced Excel.
Banking or Financial Services experience advantageous.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
