SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager: Duty to oversee daily cargo operations and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant freight handling within the air cargo environment.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 5)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Airline, Cargo, or Freight industry
Supervisory or management experience
Computer literate
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Willing to work shifts, overtime, and travel when required

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily cargo and warehouse operations
Supervise and lead operational staff
Ensure compliance with aviation safety and security regulations
Monitor cargo processing, screening, and documentation
Handle customer queries and operational issues
Conduct daily briefings, reporting, and shift handovers
Ensure equipment inspections and workplace safety compliance

Good planning and time management
Ability to work under pressure
