SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in Sandton, has an opportunity available for a Manager: Financial Management. This is a temporary assignment for 4 months.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

CA(SA)
Strong IFRS technical background with generous experience in the preparation of Group financial statements
Technical/Systems Microsoft Office, SAP, CaseWare Working Papers, IFRS
Minimum of 5 years post articles experience in a financial reporting role
Exposure to the SAP environment, people and performance management and IFRS
Experience in analysing and interpretation of financial statements
Good understanding of the functioning of the SAP system
Proven track record in leading teams
Proficient Microsoft productivity tools, e.g. PowerBI

KPAs:

Assist in preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Consolidated Group Annual Financial Statements
Ensure that all internal subsidiaries financial statements are timeously prepared and comply with IFRS
Understand fully the functioning of the SAP system and experience in CaseWare Working Papers would be an advantage
Liaising with both internal and external auditors
Assist in preparation of the following financial reports

Monthly variance analysis
Quarterly reports to EXCO and the Board
Annual Consolidated Financial Statements
Interim Consolidated Financial Statements
