POSITION INFO:

Our client, a specialist audit company providing Risk and Process Assurances services with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Supervisor/Manager to join their team in their Stellenbosch offices.

The role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualified CA (SA)
  • CISA/CIA in addition will be an advantage
  • 2-3 years Minimum Post Article Experience
  • Management Experience
  • More than basic understanding of Risk Management principles
  • More than basic understanding of Internal Audit principles and concepts


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Business Development:
    • Managing WIP and write offs
    • Timeous and accurate billing of clients, using fee arrangement letters in liaison with the partner
    • Negotiating budgets/fees and overruns for clients once fee base has been agreed with the partner
  • Operations and Processes:
    • Liaison with client and preparation of the schedule of requirements
    • Manage the project timelines and ensure that allocated resources are efficiently used (review timesheets to ascertain this and to also detect problem areas for individuals)
    • Manage the client and ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed scope
    • Review the work-in-progress and discuss with Partner for action.
    • Attend and facilitate wrap-up meetings
    • Negotiate overruns and budgets
    • Provide adequate on the job training, counselling, and evaluation
  • People Development, Learning and Growth:
    • Mentoring of internal team
