POSITION INFO:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Manager: SCM Compliance based in Pretoria.
The main function of this role is to manage all SCM compliance in line with applicable SCM legislation
Duties and responsibilities
Operational Management
- Contribute towards the development of a strategy for The Division and ensure alignment of the strategy with the plan for the SCM compliance business unit overall
- Ensure productivity is measured effectively against set objectives
- Put measures in place to improve productivity
- Develop and manage monthly reporting and Compliance schedules
- Identify and prioritise SCM Projects within the area of control
- Maintain systems to ensure that compliance levels are maintained
Functional Management
- Implement system for monitoring and reporting non-compliance issues lead manage and develop processes for identification of matters and issues
- manage and oversee all ordered activities for the SCM unit
- Ensure that all Insurance claims are submitted and processed timelessly
- Provide oversight and management of the SCM related systems
- Provide technical analysis and Compliance reporting
- Develop review and implement new SCM policies to ensure compliance
Risk and Compliance management
- Ensure the mitigation of the business units risk profile
- Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of SCM risk register and quality risk management
- Oversee the maintenance and enforcement of its SLA to minimise support
- Provide evidence to all internal and it requirement
Financial Management
- Ensure the deployment of proper financial controls to manage the business unit budget
- Ensure the effective implementation, management, monitoring of the business units budget and mitigate and report on any variances
People Management
- Manage Direct reports
- Maintain excellent human capital performance
Stakeholder Management
- Manage and resolve operational complaints
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma OR B.Degree in purchasing supply chain management or related field
- Registration as member of CIPS preferred
- 10 years relevant work experience in supply chain management
- 3 years management experience
- Must have project procurement experience at corporate level
- ERP experience
