SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Dealer School’s Senior Manager: Sales & Product Training. This position will focus primarily on Dealer Training by developing scripts for online modules and facilitating Sales, Soft skills modules.
This position forms part of the Sales & Marketing Group and is based in Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Product Training: Manage the design and development of online training material, conduct research for product training. Ensure training material is accurate by applying Quality Assurance methodology. Brand Ambassadors are trained prior to the exhibitions. Attend cross-function meetings.
  • Sales Training: Facilitate Dealer Sales persons on the soft skills modules. Continuously update the Sales Executives modules ensuring they are aligned to business needs and direction. Develop annual Sales training calendar. Allocate internal facilitators and communicate calendar to Service Providers. Monitor module demands and apply necessary changes.
  • Special Projects: Develop a Project plan to support business needs in training the Dealer Network. Consultations with stakeholder to collect information, analyse then make solid decision toward the project. Apply diligence to Purchasing processes. Execute milestones as planned for smooth roll-out. Participate in the Skills Olympiad by developing questionnaires relating to product, business strategy and Sales approach.
  • Credit Bearing Compliance: Set processes in place to monitor Instructional Designer activities ensuring modules are fully accredited to address skills gap. Prepare and support for MerSeta/QCTA audits and develop redevelop corrective measures (PDCA) in cases of findings.
  •  Budget management: Monthly monitoring of expenses against budget. Ensure products and Sales training are kept within budgets
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • NQF 6 (360 credits – 8 level framework) qualification
  • 3-4 years’ relevant experience within the Sales environment
  • Experience/ exposure in the Sales environment, as a Training Facilitator
  • Qualified Assessor and Moderator will be an added advantage
  • Motor industry experience ideally required
  • MS Office package
