POSITION INFO:
A reputable and growing concern in the retail space is looking for a qualified chartered accountant CA (SA) to join the Strategy Department as a Manager in Strategy. This role reports directly to the Head of Strategy.
JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the department through the direction form the Head of Strategy as well drive strategic plan within the department. The successful candidate will also be responsible for project management, researching an analyzing various opportunity to increase profitability and reviewing audit working papers and preparing the audit reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible for utilizing data analytics to increase profitability.
EDUCATION
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- CA (SA)
- Distinctions in matric is preferred
JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- At least 2 years post article experience
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred
- Working knowledge and experience in finance and strategy
- Knowledge of data analytics
- Experience with Tableau/PowerBI
- Excellent people management and leadership skills
- Ability to work varied hours/days including nights or weekends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
