Managing Director position available - EE

POSITION INFO:

The Managing Director is nominated by the organisation’s Board and will be responsible for the day to day running of the operating she/he has overall responsibility for strategic, operational, and commercial leadership of the organisation. The Managing Director reports to the Board of Directors of the organisation and has functional links to:

The Chairperson of the Board;
The Board of Directors;
Board Subcommittees;
The Management Committee (MANCO);
The Operational Directors;
Support Services Managers;

Core Function:

Implement the strategic goals and objectives of The Board;
With the Chairperson, enable the organisation’s Board to fulfil its governance and operations function;
Give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives;
Manage, in consultation with the Board and MANCO, all aspects of the organisation’s affairs including technical delivery, commercial and financial management and business development.

Key Performance Areas:

Ensure that Strategic Objectives of the organisation are met;
Execution of major functions / accountabilities;
Achievement of the organisation’s growth strategies;
Enhancement of the Organisation’s market profile;
Achievement of the Annual financial goals;
Achievement of Transformation Objectives;

Construction / Engineering / Architecture experience is non-negotiable.
