Managing Director

SUMMARY:
Our client, a market leader in the food processing industry, seeks to employ a vibrant, progressive and operationally sound Managing Director, who is qualified and skilled in fully managing the day to day operations of a fast paced food/perishables processing plant.

POSITION INFO:

This role requires a motivating negotiator, who has proven experience in bringing excellence to a team of professionals. 

Due to the operational requirements of this group, this role must be filled by a BEE candidate.

• You will have a Degree in Operations or Supply Chain, coupled with a post graduate degree in Business Management or related, coupled with 10+ years experience in managing a HACCP accredited Food and beverage processing plant.
• Your finely honed and strong leadership skills in managing Business Strategy, Finance, Operations, Quality, IT, Supply Chain and Production to achieve a level of customer excellence and profitability is essential
• Ideally, you will have a background in managing an import and export production/processing facility, with a high level focus on cost, profitability and building a core team of managers to achieve goals and develop new business opportunities.
• You will have gained experience in reporting to a diverse Board of Directors, coupled with being able to successfully lead change management within budget
• You will have a clear criminal and credit history, as well as being able to provide contactable references to motivate your application.
