POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy formation
• Fully responsible for the development and implementation of a long-term strategy in building and commercialising the business and its'' products into the market with a competitive differentiation

Operational Management
• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the business

Business Planning
• Direct the development of annual and longer-term business plans for the business, ensuring alignment with the organisation''s strategy.
• Participate in overall business planning, providing input into the future vision.
• Quantify business outcomes (i.e. revenues or other key performance indicators)
• Set resource budgets (financial and headcount).
• Review and approve business cases for programs that have a strategic business impact.

Business Engagement and Collaboration
• Drive acceptance and integration of the business and its products and services.
• Support business leadership and users to understand and embrace the company''s products and solutions.
• Contribute to the development of business unit strategy by providing a view on potential improvements for products or services and an assessment of the existing situation and anticipated changes in the external environment.

Financial Management and Control
• Manage the P&L of the business, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting

EDUCATION

University degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Entrepreneurial experience with proven experience of successfully growing a business
• Experience in strategic management and leadership (at least 8 years)
• Wholesale or retail trading experience - B2B and B2C Sales experience
• Experience in moving products i.e. import/distribution/logistics and stock management
• E-commerce experience
• Significant commercial experience
• Rental or contract sales experience
