Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ management experience within the manufacturing sector
Project Management
Production / Manufacturing experience essential
Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
Process and Quality Control
Analytical and accurate
AutoCAD Design and Interpretation
Excellent computer literacy, with advanced Excel essential
Xhosa speaking advantageous
Qualifications:
Degree: Engineering - Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical or Process
Responsibilities:
They are requiring an experienced individual with experience gained in the manufacturing of bricks, blocks, stone, sand, ready-mix and pavers.
This key role who will contribute to the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing the manufacturing process of their products from the raw material stage through to the final product.
Whereas technical skill, gained in a manufacturing environment, is key, it is equally important that the incumbent have excellent leadership and staff management skills and be able to build and motivate a strong team.
Key responsibilities with include:
Dealing with the optimization of complex processes and systems.
Eliminating waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy and other resources
Managing the production and manufacturing processes
Minimising manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
Ensuring attainment of business objectives by implementing Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis etc.
Managing all plant operations e.g. Human Resources, Logistics, Sales, Production, Technical, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing
Direct and co-ordinate the entire process from raw material to final product
