JOB SUMMARY:
Marine Systems Engineer needed in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, who develops systems and products for application in the marine industry has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer within their Engineering department. In this role you will be required to do extensive research into new marine technologies and systems, designing and testing of new systems, all relevant report writing and administration as well as feasibility studies on the costing of manufacturing and implementation of new products and systems.
You will be hands-on involved in the designing, prototyping and manufacturing process and assist all stakeholders throughout the testing and implementation process.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience in building and design of sea-going vessels or components thereof
Good Understanding and knowledge of the marine industry standards and certification requirements
Proficient in SolidWorks (Min 3 Years’ experience)
Valid Driver’s license
