SUMMARY:
Our client, a wholesale and distributing company based in Marlboro, Sandton, is looking for a vibrant Account Manager to manage their online marketplaces within their Sales Department. They sell a variety of goods in online marketplaces and need a dedicated individual to step up and trade their goods on the right platforms.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

Online retail / e-commerce experience
Love to trade and make sales
Able to collect sales data on such platforms and provide detailed logs of items where, why and how they selling
Create online documents that track the sales, record data and forecast sales
Must love the move and shake of the sales world
Training will be provided however experience and knowledge on marketplaces is a must
This person needs to work smart, with speed and work under pressure
They must also have an entrepreneurial nature to come up with promotions, flash sales, weekly deals and find great opportunities to get sales
Intermediate to advanced experience using MS Excel - Google Sheets is required
Marketplace experience on Makro, Takealot, Bid or Buy, Facebook and more, is an absolute advantage

Daily Tasks

Applying for promotions
Applying for daily deals
Creating flash sales to send out to our database
Plan deals and promotions ahead of schedule
Work with the Marketing Department to get banners images and graphics for mailers
Brief Marketing team on push notifications, emails, social media and campaigns
Create campaigns and shops to run on websites
Must be able to list / upload products and images on platform back end to get products “listed“

Salary / Benefits / Hours

The salary is market-related and commission is offered on account if KPI’s and sales targets are met
This is a full-time position looking – immediately required
Hours are 8 – 5pm, Monday to Friday
