Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 CTC per month (depending on experience)
Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday

• 08:00 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:00

Overview

Our client, based in Houghton, is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and sales teams with content creation, digital marketing activities, and campaign coordination.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing online presence, assisting with marketing campaigns, and coordinating promotional initiatives including exhibitions and sales activations.

Key Responsibilities Content & Digital Marketing

• Create and distribute marketing newsletters

• Write and publish blog content

• Develop engaging marketing and promotional content

• Manage and maintain company social media platforms

• Oversee and update the company LinkedIn page

• Monitor engagement and assist with growing online presence

Website Coordination

• Liaise with the website development team regarding:

  • Website updates

  • Content changes

  • Technical issues or malfunctions

• Ensure website content remains current and aligned with marketing campaigns

Marketing & Sales Support

• Assist with ad hoc marketing campaigns requested by the sales team

• Support promotional initiatives and product marketing activities

• Coordinate campaign materials and timelines

Events & Expos

• Assist with expo applications and registrations

• Coordinate expo setup and activations

• Support branding and promotional preparation for exhibitions

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification or certification in Marketing, Communications, or related field (advantageous)

• 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing or marketing assistant role

• Strong written communication and content creation skills

• Experience managing social media platforms (especially LinkedIn)

• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles

• Good organisational and coordination skills

• Proficient in MS Office and general digital tools
