Marketing Manager | Johannesburg | Retail Fashion Brand

Leading South African retail fashion brand is seeking a young, energetic and creative MARKETING MANAGER to assist in taking the prestigious brand to new heights with innovative ideas and strategies. Candidate will be office based, and be required to travel, work weekends and overtime as expected of them as they will join a high pressured and dynamic environment.

The person must be an independent and a creative thinker, incredibly proactive and organised. The key goal is to explore unique and effective ways to increase brand awareness and maximise sales by understanding the impact of the marketing strategy across the business.

The role will include managing day-to-day handling of channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (including IG Reels) and YouTube. Content to be adapted to suit the different channels.

Developing and launching new campaigns that promote the business into the defined target audiences.

Monitoring and analysing the performance on social and digital media platforms. Researching and evaluating latest trends.

Qualifications and Preferable Experience Required:

• Appropriate tertiary qualification (B degree or equivalent in Marketing / Communications / Visual Communications or similar)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Experience in Social Media Management and strategies (Facebook Ad Manager is a MUST)
• Experience working as a Digital Marketer / Online Marketer within a retail brand or similar environment
• Must have excellent writing skills
• Content marketing experience
• Adwords competency and understanding implementation
• Mailchimp experience and how to set up lists, create campaigns and schedule campaigns
