A leading cloud-based eCommerce software technology firm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team.
This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s positioning in South Africa and across international markets.

Budget: R45-60k base salary + performance based incentive

Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years’ proven experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B software, SaaS, or eCommerce.
- Track record of supporting customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Consistent history of achieving lead-generation and revenue-support targets.
- Experience across inbound and outbound marketing.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media strategy.
- Proficiency with Google Ads, analytics tools, and paid media platforms.
- Experience with CRM and automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, results-driven environment.
- Understanding of SaaS, B2B sales cycles, ERP systems, or eCommerce is highly advantageous.
- International marketing experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and deliver the marketing plan.
- Own the execution of all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage and optimise marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
- Monitor marketing effectiveness using defined KPIs and metrics.
- Develop strategies to strengthen brand positioning, grow awareness, and generate inbound leads.
- Oversee the marketing funnel: content, campaigns, ads, landing pages, email, and social media.
- Manage SEO audits, content calendars, the company blog, and PPC activities.
- Ensure the website remains updated and optimised, working closely with technical teams.
- Identify and test new marketing channels to improve lead generation and engagement.
- Coordinate creative assets for conferences, events, and promotional materials.
- Use tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and reporting dashboards to track results.
- Create and manage video content for campaigns, demos, and client testimonials.
- Produce sales collateral such as case studies, brochures, and presentations.
- Partner with industry stakeholders on co-marketing activities (webinars, podcasts, guest posts, etc).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategy.
- Gather and manage customer feedback to improve marketing effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product teams to feed insights from the market into development.
