Master Installation Electrician (Silverton Pretoria) - Automotive compulsory

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a MASTER INSTALLATION ELECTRICIAN with the necessary qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to plan, lay out, and managed installation and repair of electrical wiring apparatus, and equipment for a project.

DUTIES:

• Schedule jobs in phases during a planning stage and ensure that all needed parts, materials, and components have been ordered in advance for the completion of the job;
• Experience working with PLCs (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems);
• Must be registered to issue COC and declare safe working environment;
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and manuals of the equipment/project;
• Responsible for all fault finding on the project and.
• Experience in installing and maintaining motors, welding equipment, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers;
• Work under company safety policies and maintain OSHA safe facilities;
• Install electrical panels, junction boxes, transformers and associate wiring;
• Maintain clean room protocol, OSHA standards, and MSDS standards;
• Oversee electrical installations for PLCs, thermal, pressure, flow control instrumentation;
• Generate a range of electronic assemblies from modify schematics and ensure proper installation of all required electronic components;
• Install equipment such as transformers, capacitors, regulators, load control devices;

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years experience
• Previous experience in the automotive industry
• Supervisory/project management experience;
• Attention to detail
• Decision-making;
• Problem-solving;
• Analyzing information and evaluating results;
• Team-orientated and able to operate independently;
• Safety awareness & compliance to defined SHREQ standards;
• Effective communicator (verbal and written) at all levels;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• N6Electrical Engineering;
• Trade Test certificate;
• Master''s Licence; (COC Sertificate)
• Wireman''s Licence;
