SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring the correct customer requirements are received and visible to ensure that timeous production planning, material procurement and shipping can take place to satisfy such customer requirements in time.

Responsibilities;
This position is responsible for ensuring the correct customer requirements are received and visible to ensure that timeous production planning, material procurement and shipping can take place to satisfy such customer requirements in time.
- Maintain finished goods inventory levels to set company targets.
- Monitor daily production progress in line with weekly requirements and sea freight shipping line schedules
- Ensure that customer releases are correct timeously updated on SAP
- Evaluate and report on customer releases against AOE/Budget and customer forecasted vehicle billings
- Daily monitoring of customer web based portal requirements
- Avoid premium freight (on cost) outbound to both the company and the customer
- Create ”Critical Analysis” overview to determine an overall stock coverage and gap in supply
- Convene regular meeting with customers to ensure a clear understanding of shipping requirements and resolve potential problems
- Interaction and participation within customer teams are essential to manage your role effectively
- Question suspect SAP stock accuracy (Examples: No or short finished goods (FG) stock received, high FG stock in production, all FG stock reflecting in production, blocked FG stock, FG partial box stock reflecting in warehouse, etc.)
- Create and Maintain “Stock Tracker Schedules” as a tool to monitor stock levels at the customer, stock in-transit to customer, for identifying stock shortages at the customer in advance and to propose potential measures for avoidance
Profile:
- SCM/ Logistics Diploma or Degree
- 5 Years Supply Chain / Material Controlling experience, preferable automotive industry
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, SAP
- Have a Logical Approach to Situations
- Understands the sense of urgency
- Strong planning, Analytical and Organising Skills
- Have good attention to details and work well with figures
- Be able to work under pressure, handle stress
- Good communication and Presentation skills
