SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Material Planner to join them in Sandton, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Material Planner

Location: Sandton, Gauteng

Salary Range: R 45 000.00 – R 55 000.00 pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• The successful candidate will work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams
• Responsibilities include efficient management of inventory levels and costs for slow- and fast-moving products, production planning and management reporting
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills are essential
• Attention to detail, hands on approach and respect for deadlines are essential characteristics

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 8-10 years experience in material planning
• Relevant tertiary qualification on purchasing or supply chain
• Good understanding of manufacturing / production environment
