SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Material Planner to join them in Sandton, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Material Planner

Location: Sandton, Gauteng

Salary Range: R 45 000.00 – R 55 000.00 pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams
Responsibilities include efficient management of inventory levels and costs for slow- and fast-moving products, production planning and management reporting
Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills are essential
Attention to detail, hands on approach and respect for deadlines are essential characteristics

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

8-10 years experience in material planning
Relevant tertiary qualification on purchasing or supply chain
Good understanding of manufacturing / production environment
